Harvesting Sauvignon Joseph
On Oct 17, my brother Stefan finished off this year’s wine harvest in proper style gathering in his Sauvignon Joseph grapes . Bright sunshine, blue skies and cool temperatures provided the perfect scene to cut down wonderful grapes that tasted sweet like raisins
. 
Three times prior to today’s harvest Stefan and his team has sifted through the vineyard, cutting out grapes threatened by putrefaction or of minor quality to ensure supreme grape quality . The plan has worked out perfectly providing the basis for a premium vintage . The Sauvignon Joseph will be out for you to enjoy in about April 2009.
